3 accused of stealing $20K from Plymouth business

PLYMOUTH, Ind. -- Three people were arrested for allegedly cashing fraudulent checks from a local business totaling nearly $20,000 between April and May 2017, according to Plymouth Police.

On July 12, Plymouth Police were asked to investigate fraudulent checks from CJ Poly in Plymouth that were cashed at Lake City Bank.

Police said a former employee, 32-year-old Autumn Burnham, had manufactured checks without authorization.

She and two others are accused of cashing the fraudulent checks totaling approximately $20,000.

On July 17, 39-year-old Wendy Milton and 35-year-old Jennifer Krueger were questioned and arrested regarding the alleged fraud.

On July 18, Burnham was questioned and arrested.

Milton, Krueger and Burnham were booked for check fraud and theft with bond set at $10,000.00 cash.
