3 Doors Down bassist charged with vehicular homicide by intoxication

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The bassist for the band 3 Doors Down has been charged with vehicular homicide by intoxication. 

Robert Harrell crashed into and killed another driver.

Police say his speeding car clipped a pick-up truck, sending it down an embankment.

It happened Friday night in Nashville.

Harrell acknowledged he drank hard cider and took prescription pills before driving.
