3 juveniles arrested for bank robbery in Elkhart

ELKHART, Ind. – Police are still on the lookout for a fourth suspect after the 1st Source Bank on West Lexington Avenue was robbed at gunpoint Tuesday morning.

According to Elkhart Police, two suspects came into the bank and allegedly displayed handguns while another suspect waited in the lobby of the bank and fourth was parked in a car nearby.

The two suspects with guns took cash and fled to the parked vehicle.

Police say witnesses were able to provide a description of the suspect vehicle, which police saw leaving the scene.

When officers tried to stop the vehicle, it fled to the 400 block of West Lexington Avenue where all four suspects got out and ran on foot.

Officers say three of the suspects were arrested, a 16-year-old and two 17-year-olds, but they are still looking for the fourth suspect.
