3 people injured after a drive-by shooting
SOUTH BEND, Ind. – The South Bend Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred Sunday morning around 345 a.m. in the 200 block S. Meade.
SBPD officers were dispatched to the area on a ShotSpotter Alert, as well as an officer hearing shots fired near the area. Officers learned that three victims were taken to the hospital.
A 25-year-old male with a wound to the right shoulder.
A 30-year-old male with a wound to the upper back of the leg.
A 37-year-old male with a wound to the torso.
All three victims are reported stable and none of the injuries are consider life-threatening.
Through the initial investigation, officers discovered a four-door vehicle drove by and person or persons started shooting.
Additionally as part of this investigation, detectives also identified and arrested two suspects from a shooting that occurred on June 6 at the same location with two people injured.
