32 Injured in train derailment

CHICAGO -- More than 30 people were hurt in a train derailment at Chicago's O'Hare Airport.

It happened early Monday morning.

Investigators say the blue line was going so fast it plowed through a bumping post at the end of the track, jumped the platform, and ended up an escalator.

Crews are working to remove the train and fix the escalator.

"I've never experienced nothing like that. The train is messed up. It's all the way up the escalator. It's messed up. No wheels, no nothing on the train. It's all messed up," said passenger Denise Adams.

The National Transportation Safety Board is joining the investigation, viewing security footage, and interviewing the driver and other CTA workers to pin-down the cause.
