33-year-old Stevensville man faces several felony firearms charges
Berrien County Jail: Stephan Morgan LINCOLN TOWNSHIP, Mich. -- A 33-year-old Stevensville man is in jail facing multiple felony firearms related charges after a fight broke out on evening of July 31.
The Lincoln Township Police Department reports officers responded to the 2500 block of W. Glenlord Road around 5:30 p.m. that day for a reported fight in progress involving a firearm.
Police arrived to find citizens at the scene had restrained the suspect, later identified as Stephan Morgan.
Investigators at the scene were able to locate the firearm Morgan had at the time of the alleged crime.
No injuries were reported by any of those involved in the incident.
Morgan was taken to Berrien County Jail.
Morgan was arraigned at the Berrien County Courthouse, and the Berrien County Prosecutor's Office has formally charged Morgan.
Morgan is charged with False Report or Threat of Terrorism, Weapon-Carrying Concealed, Weapons- Dangerous Weapon-Carrying W/ Unlawful Intent, and three counts of Weapons Felony Firearms.
The investigation remains ongoing.
