ELKHART COUNTY, Ind. -- A probable cause affidavit from Elkhart Superior Court 3 reveals a 38-year-old man has been charged with multiple felony charges of Child Molesting.

The man, identified as Randy Bennett, is charged with two counts of Child Molesting, Level 4 Felonies, and one count of Sexual Misconduct with a Minor committed by person at least 21 years old, a Level 5 Felony.

Bennett's initial hearing is Monday afternoon.

According to court documents, on May 13, 2025, the Elkhart Police Department and the Indiana Department of Child Services received a report involving a minor and Bennett.

Through the investigation, police say another minor victim was identified.

The first victim was interviewed and alleged that Bennett had touched them inappropriately several times throughout the summer of 2022.

The second victim was interviewed and alleged that Bennett had touched them on several occasions during the summer of 2024. The victim told police Bennett had touched them as recently as the evening before being interviewed.

When police later spoke with Bennett, he denied touching either victim.
