411 Homicides in Detroit in 2012

DETROIT — The city of Detroit released its annual crime statistics on Thursday morning.
Of the 461 death investigations, 411 were homicides. That is an increase from 2011 when the city recorded 377 murders.
The numbers are expected to be Detroit's highest in 18 years.
