4th of July schedule for Nappanee

Stauffer Park

8 a.m. – Big Cup Golf Tournament; at McCormick Creek Golf Course.

9 a.m. – Junior Olympics registration begins at 8:30 a.m. Sponsored by the Nappanee Rotary Club

9 a.m. – Yoga in the Park – Bring a mat, towel, or blanket for a free community class with Margie Bowling, certified yoga instructor.

10 a.m. - 10 p.m.. – Fun in the Park including Bounce House, face painting, food and more.

11 a.m. – Parade (City Hall to Stauffer Park). Line up on West Lincoln Street at 10:30 a.m.

12 p.m. - 6 p.m.. – Free Swim at the City Pool.

1 p.m.. – Waterball Contest Sponsored by the Nappanee Fire Department

2 p.m.. – Tailgate Toss Tournament

2 p.m. – 4pm – Run the Obstacle Course for adults and kids – Prizes for top times. Sponsored by Friendly Coffee Company.

2:45pm. – 4th Annual Napp Town Hunt Down – Zany Digital Scavenger Hunt – more info- Register by 2:30.

4:30 p.m. – "Nappanee's Got Talent". All ages; talents of all kinds; register at stage by 4pm

6 p.m. – Community Jam and Drum Circle – A community music-making event for all ages, no experience required, bring your instrument, tuned drum or homemade percussion, shaker, bell, woodblock or bucket.

6:30 p.m.-dark – Entertainment on the Stage

7:30 p.m. - Country Jam Band

10 p.m. or dark – Fireworks

Food vendors will be available all day. Horseshoe pits, sand volleyball court and skate park available for use. Bring your own equipment.
