SOUTH BEND, Ind. – Police have identified the man who died following a shooting along Huey Street on Thursday.
At 8:20 p.m., officers with the South Bend Police Department and medics arrived to the 1200 block of Huey Street for reports of a shooting.
Johnnie Lee Johnson, 53, of South Bend was pronounced dead at the scene shortly after they arrived.
Johnson’s family has been notified.
His autopsy is scheduled for Saturday.
