ABC57 Saturday Kickoff host Allison Hayes is sharing messages of hope from those with ties to Michiana who are still finding ways to spread positivity despite the COVID-19 pandemic.
From making big plays on the court to dressing up like Santa to cheer up kids fighting life threatening diseases, Notre Dame basketball player Rex Pflueger always has a smile on his face.
Pflueger shares this pep talk with the Michiana community.
“Hey everyone, it’s Rex Pflueger, Notre Dame men’s basketball. I’m here to talk about what I’ve been doing during quarantine. I’ve been hanging out with a lot of family, getting a lot of sun but also playing a lot of video games and also reading, just making sure to keep the brain active. I hope everyone out there is staying safe, having a good time enjoying the little things like family and their own health. I hope everyone is doing well out there and go Irish.”
