SOUTH BEND, Ind. - Olivet African Methodist Episcopal Church and Sunnyside Presbyterian Church hosted 5K Peace, Run, Walk or Stroll Saturday morning. With 75 participants, both churches were working to support youth ministries, Heroes Camp.
The camp offers many programs including sports, arts and a barbershop for their participants.
Olivet AME and SPC’s goals are to bring religious, social and cultural differences together to promote wellness and peace in all forms.
