63rd annual Southwest Michigan regional chamber golf outing
BENTON HARBOR, Mich -- Southwest Michigan regional chamber brings out the community at their 63rd annual golf outing.
The event hosted a sold out event of 126 participants at the Lake Michigan Hills Golf Club for the second year in a row, allowing local businesses to showcase their products with the community, clients, and associates.
Organizers provided multiple prizes for winners in various categories such as first place, longest hit ball, and more.
"It's a fun day for our members to come out and spend on a golf course, and help raise funds for the chamber so that we can continue some of our programming such as childcare research, broadband, housing, and so forth leadership development. I mean, the list really goes on and on," said Southwest Michigan Regional Chamber Director of Membership & Events Sarah Spoonholtz.
"I think one of the reasons why we're on our 63rd year is the fact that so many people just love it. It's a great opportunity for them to connect, to bring people that they do business with out or even their staff and come out on the golf course a perfect chamber day weather wise, like we've had today and just kind of relax and not really think about the daily stuff that's happening," Spoonholtz added.
