SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The 6th annual Concours D'Elegance, a classic car show, took place July 13, with more than 90 classic cars from Studebakers to Ford Model F's.
More than 200 people came out to check out the rides, with organizers hoping that the young people in attendance get inspired to get involved with classic cars.
"Events like this, get the young people interested, they see these really cool cars and they get to see them and even some of them sit in them. And we hope it sparks them to get an interest in the cars and be involved," states President of the Board of Trustees for the Studebaker National Museum Bill Panzica.
One of the guest speakers at the car show, Emeline King, is the first African American Female Designer for Ford Motor Company.
