76-year-old stabbed during argument

ELKHART, Ind. -- A man was arrested for allegedly stabbing an older man with a knife during an argument Sunday morning.

Around 6:15 a.m., Elkhart Police were called to 713 W. Cleveland Avenue for reports of a stabbing.

William Bramley, 59, allegedly stabbed the 76-year-old victim when a verbal argument escalated.

The victim was transported to Memorial Hospital for treatment of his injuries.

Bramley was arrested on a preliminary charge of battery bodily injury with a knife.
