86-Year-old dies after car accident in South Bend

SOUTH BEND — An 86-year-old woman died after a car accident early Saturday morning. It happened on East Ireland Road in South Bend.
The woman and her female passenger were leaving the Goodwill store when they collided with another vehicle.
The woman was taken to the hospital where she died hours later. The passenger suffered injuries that were not serious.
The two passengers in the other vehicle also sustained minor injuries.
