89-Year-old WWII veteran finally earns college degree

RUSSELLVILLE, AR -- World War II veteran Charlie Ball earned his public relations degree from Arkansas Tech University this past weekend.
Ball started his degree there nearly 70 years ago, but he joined the military after Pearl Harbor. He took a few classes here and there and he finally earned enough hours to graduate at the age of 89.
Ball is the oldest graduate in the school's history.
