AC/DC performing at Notre Dame September 4, what to expect

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- AC/DC will be performing at Notre Dame Stadium on September 4 for the first time since 1983. The show is going to cause heavier traffic and the need for extra security in the area.

The event will mirror a typical Notre Dame home football game in terms of operations: use of magnetometers, ticket checks, and a secured perimeter.

With the expected hot weather, the stadium is allowing up to 2 sealed bottles of water to be brought inside the stadium, first aid stations will be open throughout, and beverages for sale on site.

The parking lot opens at 3:30 p.m., stadium gates open at 5:30 p.m., and the concert will begin at 7:30 p.m.
