ELKHART, Ind. -- An Indiana State Trooper has located a six-month-old child who was abducted by a non-custodial parent on Saturday, May 10. The trooper reports that he saw a vehicle that matched the description driving eastbound on US 20 near C.R. 17 and initiated a traffic stop.
The trooper then called for additional units as he followed the vehicle, which was described as a maroon 2004 Chevrolet Trailblazer. The male identified driving the vehicle was Shaquile Brooker, the suspected abductor.
The child was found unharmed, and Booker was taken to the Marshall County Jail where he faces several charges related to this case. Booker also had an active warrant out of Allen County.
