SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Lanes on the Bendix Drive bridge over the Indiana Toll Road just outside the South Bend International Airport are being shut down for major repairs.
Drivers heading north on Bendix will be detoured, but drivers heading south will be able to continue as normal because those lanes will remain open through the project. The northbound detour will take drivers on Nimitz parkway, Olive Road, Brick Road, then Cleveland Road.
The bridge repairs are expected to be done by September 9.
