Black History, Black Futures: ABC57’s full 30-minute special
SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Local resident and Notre Dame sports fan Helen Weeks will turn 90 on Oct. 5, and she attended her first Fighting Irish football game only a few weeks ago.
Although the Irish lost, Weeks and her friend Ellen, who bought the tickets for the game, had a great time.
Weeks told her friend, "I wish I would've said in my interview that I was glad I waited until 90 to attend my first Notre Dame football game, because I was treated like a queen."
