SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- History, on the move. The historic Crepeau Building will soon be rolling through downtown.

Bright and early on Monday morning, June 8, in downtown South Bend, you could see a very rare site, indeed - a 130 -year-old building on wheels rolling slowly down the street.

The Crepeau building, home to Roxann’s Hair Boutique, and currently located on North Hill Street, will make its journey down the street to its new home on Colfax Avenue. The move begins at 9 a.m.

And - La Belle Vie Charcuterie Café will be open early to celebrate, but you must be in their parking lot by 8 a.m. if you'd like to watch. They’ll be serving breakfast specials, including their delicious Croque Monsieur, while you take in this exciting piece of South Bend history in motion.
