SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The South Bend Police Department reports one unit was dispatched to Navarre Middle School after a call came in around 2:37 p.m., Monday.
The school went on a temporary lockdown following the call.
Police confirm a loaded magazine was found on school property, but no firearm was found.
The school's dismissal will happen at its normal time.
Police say there was not an intruder as some social media posts have suggested.
