MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- Adidas sponsored a basketball tournament in Mishawaka and top high school hoop stars were looking to impress top college coaches.
The event took place at the Mishawaka Fieldhouse and featured over 300 basketball coaches from top universities like Duke, North Carolina, and Connecticut.
"We're just providing the platform, we do all the operations, game scheduling, et cetera, just providing a platform for these athletes to get recruited," said Max Piner, head of the 3Stripes Select Basketball.
This event was solely focused on high school boys, but Adidas is planning another tournament for the girls. It's scheduled to happen on July 10 through July 13.
