SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- One male victim is dead after being struck by a vehicle at the intersection of Sample and Michigan Street. 

On Sunday, June 21, around 4:45 p.m. South Bend Police were called for a person struck by a vehicle. 

Once arriving on scene officers found a male victim with serious injuries. 

The victim was transported to the hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. 

His name is being withheld pending family notification. 

No other injuries were reported, further details will be released as the investigation progresses.
