Indiana Michigan Power released the following statement at noon on Sunday:

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
• I&M crews, assisted by restoration experts from outside states, have restored
approximately 86% of the 43,000 customers impacted by the storms on Friday evening
and Saturday morning.
• Most customers who are still experiencing outages and can safely receive power are
expected to be restored by 5 PM, if not sooner.
• Customers may wonder why they see neighbors or nearby streets being restored while
their own power is still out. Areas are assigned to different circuits, and it may be the
case that the circuit that serves your neighbor’s location was repaired. Or, in some
cases, a segment of the circuit serving your neighbor was restored, and our crews have
not yet repaired the segment of that same circuit that serves you. Our crews will
continue to work until every customer is restored.

SITUATION
Approximately 5,900 customers are without power. Nearly all Indiana customers impacted by
the two storms have been restored.
If you are still without power, we appreciate your patience during this extended outage. Our
crews, as well as the those from outside utilities, continue to work as quickly and safely to
restore power to every individual home and business

MEC released the following information on Sunday afternoon:

Midwest Energy & Communications (MEC) reports about 3,477 customers without power. The largest outages are in the townships of Antwerp, Newberg, and Texas, with many more scattered across southwest Michigan. Please visit https://www.teammidwest.com/outage for a full list.

Last night’s rain has made terrain trickier to navigate, and crews continue to find extensive damage and broken poles. MEC expects about 90% of customers will be restored by the end of the day today, with the rest restored on Monday.
