ELKHART, Ind. -- A car crash involving two vehicles has been reported from the Elkhart County Sheriff Department. The call came in Oct. 7 at 6:17 p.m. The crash was located Walorski Pkwy, just east of the I-80 roundabout.

A Chevy Silverado was heading north, exiting from Walorski Pkwy, and turned into the path east of A Nissan Altima. The front of the Silverado struck the passenger side of the Altima. The driver of the Altima, 25-year-old Demarrio Henderson, attempted to swerve to avoid the collision. Both drivers have been transported by ambulance for medical treatment due to injuries. The Silverado driver, 28-year-old Nathan Raifsnider, was cited for failure to yield at the right of way. 

Both drivers were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the accident.
