We're staying dry this morning with temperatures in the mid 30's, but rain turning to snow will move through Michiana behind a cold front midday. We'll see a short period of rainfall as we reach our high for the day later this morning before rain turns to snow with cooling temperatures. This line of precipitation moves south across the region, starting up around noon, ending by 5pm. The cold front will also result in winds picking up heading into the afternoon, gusting up to 30 mph at times. As precipitation and clouds move out this evening, we should see a bit of sunshine before the sun sets. Clear skies overnight will allow overnight lows to drop into the lower 20's, so expect tomorrow morning to be cold. The rest of Thursday will be much nicer with sunshine and highs near 50. Friday is our next focus - rain, wind, and even thunderstorms are in the forecast with storms most likely Friday evening and night. We do have a non-zero severe threat, but this will be highly dependent on the timing of this system.
Today: Rain/snow. Breezy. High 40.
Tonight: Clear. Low 22.
Thursday: Mostly sunny. High 50.
Friday: Rainy and breezy. Evening storms. High 63.
