A Christmas tree of a different kind

NOTRE DAME, Ind. -- The Saint Mary's Library constructed a different kind of Christmas tree this year.
It is made up entirely of books--about 1,300 of them. And those books are actually bound periodicals so there are about 5,000 magazines that make up the exterior of the tree.
It took four or five library staff members about 18 hours to complete the tree.
The star on the top of the tree is actually a book that was written by a former school president. The title is appropriately called "A Child Asks for a Star."
