Shop with a cop brings Christmas joy
BERRIEN COUNTY, Mich. – Tattoo the World presented A Day with Santa to help bring holiday cheer to Niles on Saturday.
The event focused on honoring the life of Brandon Williams, who was killed at Kelly’s Pub earlier this year.
Tattoo the World is a non-profit organization that was created to honor Williams and his ideas.
Participants were able to spend the day with Santa, decorate cookies and make holiday crafts at In the Cut Barbershop,
"These were his ideas, he sat down and talked with me one day and said 'sis, I wanna do a backpack giveaway, I wanna do something for the area,' and I was like, you can do it. But he never got the chance to do it so that's why I just started and did it all myself. That's my way of coping through all this,” said Tiara Williams, sister of Brandon Williams.
Williams was killed in the shooting that happened at Kelly’s Pub in June, and the investigation is still ongoing.
