The forecast for the weekend is fair, at least most of it. The hitch happens Saturday night with scattered thundershowers, rain could impact evening plans, but will most likely fall after midnight. Temperatures swing up to 80 degrees Saturday and down to a high of just 70 degrees, Sunday. Next week, temperatures rise again. A building storm threat will move out of the central plains and into our area Tuesday-Wednesday. As of Friday afternoon, the threat seems higher Wednesday.

Saturday: Mostly sunny. High 80.
Sunday (Cinco de Mayo): Partly cloudy. High 68.
