A lot of weather to talk about this week

The weather becomes more active through Thanksgiving. At this time there is not major impact, nuisance and inconvenience if you are traveling. Tuesday morning will be wet, Wednesday is colder and breezy with lake effect snow showers picking up through Wednesday afternoon through Thursday morning. Approximately an inch of snow is likely in the snow belt. The snow wanes Thursday and Friday, which will be cold days. The focus for a moderate winter impact turns to Saturday, with snow likely; the question will be how much and that will come down to the track of a system. Temperatures are also likely to warm, just above freezing Sunday, making most wintry weather, slushy.

Travel Saturday has the potential to be the biggest pain for travel. If you have plans that day, keep tabs on the forecast, it's likely to chang. At this point Friday is the easiest travel day.

Tonight: Rain Showers late. Low 45.

Tuesday: Morning rain showers, afternoon clouds, still mild. High 54.

Wednesday: Cloudy and breezy, colder. High 40.

Thursday: Flurries. High 23
