A Perfect Day for a Dip

SOUTH BEND, Ind.-- July 8th turned out to be the perfect pool day for lots of people across Michiana.
From the Kroc Center campus to the Merrifield Pool. The water was packed with people actually enjoying the heat and not tryinng to avoid it!
With the nearly twenty degree dip today people were more eager to get outside and have fun.
"It's gonna be sunny, I expect some big crowds. Usually people come out when it's in the mid-80s or high-80s," said Joe Vannevel.
"They're comfortable in that hot heat. You got the sun blaring down on you when it's 100 degrees, when it's 85 or 88 it's a little more comfortable, a little more bearable," Joe Vannevel continued.
