Adult and child rescued from water in Saint Joseph, Michigan

SAINT JOSEPH, Mich. -- The Benton Harbor Department of Public Safety Boat 53 responded this afternoon to the report of a windsurfer in distress off of the South Pier.
Upon arriving to the scene, Boat 53 and the U.S Coast Guard Station St. Joseph 41 Lifeboat, found one adult and a child with no sail stranded.
There were no injuries to either the adult or child, and they were safely recovered.
