SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Saturday afternoon 146 brave souls took a dip right along with the temperature for the eighth annual Polar Plunge at Four Winds Field.
They were freezing for a reason, raising $42,820 for Special Olympics Indiana.
The proceeds from this event and 19 others will go to support programming for over 18,000 Hoosier special Olympic athletes.
ABC57 sponsored the event with our team making a splash for a great cause.
