Absentee voting to begin on Tuesday

SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- Looking to skip the long lines on Election Day next month? Here's your chance!

Absentee voting begins on Tuesday morning at the County-City Building in South Bend.

ABC 57 stopped by on Thursday. Officials are finishing up last minute "prep work" on ballots.

You can cast your absentee ballot as early as 8 a.m.

Don't forget to bring a government-issued picture ID or passport.

Election Day is Nov. 2.
