Accident in Bridgman kills and injures one

BRIDGMAN, Mich. — An accident in Berrien County has taken the life of a woman and injured her husband.
The 91-year-old woman, Doris Carney, died in her garage on Thompson Court in Bridgman, Mich. Her 86-year-old husband James Carney was injured during the same accident.
Officers do not know how the accident happened. Police say both seniors were found under a car and were found by a neighbor.
Police do not suspect foul play.
