Adams High School teacher fired for "immorality"

An Adams High School teacher has been fired for immorality.

According to Director of Communications Sue Coney, health teacher William Emmons was fired from the school after "the School Corporation received a report that Mr. Emmons engaged in inappropriate communication of a sexual nature with a student."

Emmons was fired Monday night by the Board of School Trustees for "reasons of immorality and other good or just cause."

According to the prosecutor's office, no charges have been filed against Emmons.
