SOUTH BEND, Ind. -- The No. 10 Notre Dame women's basketball team had lost back-to-back games as part of the Cayman Islands Classic tournament last week, but were home against No. 4 Texas on Thursday and they rebounded with a 80-70 overtime victory in front of a packed house.
"We were so excited to be home," said Notre Dame Women's Head Basketball Coach Niele Ivey. "They said it was very close to a sold-out arena."
