Demolition underway at the Rabbi Shulman apartment building
NILES, Mich.- Niles Community Schools announced on Thursday that renovations which began in 2015 are finally finished.
Buildings such as the Northside Child Development Center and Southside School had new features added, including increased safety measures, new whiteboards, new paint and flooring, and an air system.
Niles Superintendent, Dr. Dan Applegate said, “It’s been a long time coming but we’re so glad that it’s actually come to fruition and have the students benefit from a lot of the change in our learning environment.”
These renovations were made possible through a $40 million bond which was passed by voters in 2015. It was the first bond passed
