Afternoon shooting leaves one injured in Michigan City

ABC 57 MICHIGAN CITY, Ind. -- The Michigan City Police Department reports officers responded to a shooting in the 400 block of Chicago Street around 3:17 p.m., Friday.
Police say one person was injured in the incident.
The shooting remains under investigation.
Authorities say there's no known threat to public safety at this time.
