Alcohol may be to blame for US 31 accident Sunday morning

NILES, Mich. -- Alcohol may be to blame for a crash on the US 31 bypass early Sunday morning.
It happened directly under the Niles Buchanan overpass.
The collision happened around 2 a.m.
Sherriff's deputies say the driver of the car was taken to the hospital for a foot injury.
The woman's passenger suffered internal injuries.
The Berrien County Sheriff's Department continues to investigate.
