All business for Skip Holtz

NOTRE DAME, Ind. --The Fighting Irish start their 2011 season against a tough, South Florida.

The Bulls arrived in South Bend around 3 p.m. on Friday.

Their first stop was The College Football Hall of Fame.  Head coach Skip Holtz is no stranger to the area, his dad is legendary Notre Dame coach Lou Holtz.

ABC 57 found out that the family connection will take a back seat during Saturday’s game.

Holtz said, “This is not a family history trip. I’ve got great memories and great history here in South Bend. But, I'm here with the University of South Florida and we're coming here, because we have a football game and this is a business trip for us."

Skip Holtz is a former Notre Dame walk-on and was also an assistant coach and offensive coordinator for The Irish.
