Alleged drunk driver leads police on traffic chase

A low speed traffic pursuit took place Saturday by the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Department and the Goshen City Police Department.

The chase happened just before 2:00 p.m.

Police say 42-year-old Jeremy Miller of Goshen was driving drunk through yards in the area and refused to stop for officers.

He led police from the area of County Road 40 and Prairie View Drive.

He later stopped his vehicle and fled on foot at a residence on Lawn Court.

Miller was arrested for Fleeing and Resisting Arrest and taken to the Elkhart County Jail.
