Altercation breaks out as first responders in Marshall County assist overdose victim

LAPAZ, Ind. – The Marshall County Police Department reports that as first responders were assisting an overdose victim, an altercation occurred between the family members.

The incident happened on June 28 around 7:19 p.m. at the Gatewood Mobile Park near Lapaz.

Jeffery Hickey of Lapaz was arrested after the altercation was broken up by a County Police Officer.

Hickey was booked into jail and has been charged with Disorderly Conduct and Resisting Law Enforcement.

His bond has been set at $1505.
