Amber Alert issued in Michigan

The Hamburg Township Police Department in Michigan has issued an Amber Alert for a 7-year-old girl.

According to the Amber Alert:

Mother of missing child, Amanda Hayward is suffering from an apparent mental episode. She is paranoid, delusional and may be armed with a 9 mm Hi Point Semi-Auto handgun. Hayward and her 7-year-old daughter, Sapphire Palmer, are believed to be in the company of Douglas Steven Stanko, age 64, who is a registered sex offender.

They are believed to be in a red 2001 Ford Escape with Michigan plate 2HVA18.
