American Airlines apologizes for glitch

American Airlines is still experiencing delays as it deals with a backlog of grounded passengers from Tuesday's technical issues.

American Airlines is apologizing for a massive computer glitch that stranded thousands of passengers.

The computer meltdown left ticket agents unable to access information on their computers. The airline's operations center had no way to change or update schedules or even track bags.

"The positive side is everyone is being very pleasant. The not so great aspect is we have no idea when we're going to get home," said a passenger.

American offered to book passengers on other flights so they could get to where they were going.

Passengers will also get a refund.
