Amish girls returned safely after being kidnapped

HUEVELTON, New York -- A couple in New York has been arrested and charged with first degree kidnapping for allegedly abducting two Amish girls from their family's farm.
Officials believe that 39-year-old Stephen Howells and 25-year-old Nicole Vaisey wanted to harm or sexually abuse the two girls.
A man found and rescued the girls and returned them to the vegetable stand where they were kidnapped.
"He helped bring us the resolution. He's an individual who stood up and did what he felt was right at the time," said St Lawrence County Sheriff Kevin Wells.
