Annual Makers Trail Festival happening June 8

BRIDGMAN, Mich. - St. Joseph Today is putting on the 2024 Makers Trail Festival in Bridgman on Saturday, June 8, from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The public is invited to party at Weko Beach to enjoy live entertainment and Southwest Michigan’s premier wine, beer, cider and spirit makers in one place.

Organizers say this annual event is a great opportunity for you and your friends to try new drinks or stick with your go-to favorites using beverage tickets purchased when you arrive.

Drink tasting tickets can be purchased for $1 each.

Organizers ask that you bring cash, as the fest is a cash-only event, so bring money for drink tasting tickets and food from vendors.

Tickets to the event are $20 each and can be purchased ahead of time here, or in person on the day-of with cash only. Kids 12 and under are free.

Entertainment schedule:

  • DJ/Emcee - 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. - Mark Durocher
  • Opener - 2 p.m. to 3:15 p.m. -Top Secret/Still Runnin'
  • Middle Act - 3:45 p.m. to 5 p.m. - The Backups and The Get Downs
  • Headliner - 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. - Ultrafab

Food trucks:

  • Nola Roux (Cajun)
  • The Brick House on Wheels (Burgers and Sandwiches)
  • Taqueria Don Chepe (Mexican)

Wood, Stock and Grill

Free parking and shuttles will be available. Organizers say the shuttles will run frequently throughout the event.

Parking locations will be a few miles away from Weko Beach at Eagle Technologies and AEP. There will be no parking at Weko Beach.

The parking locations will be monitored by the Berrien County Mounted Division.

Organizers add there will be no hotel shuttles this year, so plan in advance to park in the event parking lot and take a shuttle.

You may bring your own camping chairs, but organizers ask that you please leave your pets, coolers, drinks, and food at home, as they’re not allowed on festival grounds.

No smoking is permitted, either.
