Annual Midwest RV Super Show is underway in Elkhart

From small campers to motorhomes, the Midwest RV Super Show in the RV capital of the world has it all.

"Well the greatest thing about an RV show is folks can come out and they can look at dozens of different types of RVs all in one place. They don’t have to run around town they can see everything all in one spot for one ticket price,” said Matt Rose, the RV Show’s Director.

Organizers are expecting a lot this year, especially with business booming.

“We’re getting more folks into the higher end units simply because interest rates are as low as they are,” said Chad Rothrock, an RV Dealer.

Despite harsh economic times in the past, the industry is experiencing record growth since the recession in 2008. Organizers didn’t want to focus on the downsides. Instead, they want buyers to know the best part about the show.

They hope for continued success in the future.

"When the RV industry is doing great most of these folks out here are doing great we’re just praying that everything keeps going great we’re gonna continue to ride this RV wave and hopefully ride it into the next millennium,” said Rothrock.

The show runs from now until Sunday, August 7th at the RV/MH Hall of Fame.
